IH International Harvester was a prominent American producer of farm machinery, construction equipment, vehicles, and consumer and commercial goods. The corporation was created in 1902 by the combination of McCormick Harvesting Machine corporation, Deering Harvester Company, Plano Manufacturing Company, and other smaller agricultural equipment companies.
The International Harvester (IH) logo has a vertical "I" crossed by a horizontal "H" in a striking black and white style. The text at the bottom of the logo is written in the font developed in 1915. The current logo has the words "International Harvester" underneath the insignia.
