Actavis was a pharmaceutical business that initially concentrated on generic medications. Allergan purchased it in 2015, and the Actavis name was kept for the company’s worldwide generics business. In 2020, AbbVie purchased Allergan. Actavis’ name may not be as well-known now, since its businesses have been incorporated into the bigger Allergan and AbbVie corporations.
The Actavis logo features the wordmark and a logomark which looks like a wavy or spiral letter “A”, symbolizing the company’s progressive attitude and appreciation for innovation.
