B.M. Birla created Hindustan Motors, an Indian automobile company in 1942. It was well known for making the classic Ambassador automobile, which was based on the British Morris Oxford. The Ambassador was one of India’s longest-continuously produced automobiles, beginning in 1958 and lasting until 2014.
The Hindustan Motors logo consists of a blue horizontal rectangle with stylized “H” and “M” letters, and “Hindustan Motors” in blue below. The letters “H” and “M” forms three vertical white rectangles splitted by paired yellow diagonals.
